Piedmont is home to the "Slowfood movement" and has a very refined tradition of cuisine with blended influences from the Italian and the French. Piedmont is fabulous year-round since it is one of Italy’s best-kept secrets and relatively free of tourist crowds! If you go in September through November you’ll be in time for the wine and truffle harvest!

DAY 1:  USA - TURIN / MILAN          [DEPART USA]

DAY 7:  TURIN          [INTRODUCTORY SIGHTS]
Detailed private sightseeing this morning of the highlights of Turin,
including the Royal Palace and Armory, Piazza Castello, Piazza San Carlo,
Palazzo Madama, and the Mole Antonelliana. Enjoy your leisurely free afternoon.
 
DAY 8:  TURIN          [FREE DAY]
Free day to see any sights you missed before such as Palazzo Carignano, Castel del Valentino, the National Museum of Cinema, the Egyptian Museum (incredible!), or the recreated village of Borgo and Rocca Medievale.
 
DAY 9:  TURIN - USA          [RETURN HOME]
Transfer to the airport now for your home-bound flights.  Same-day arrival in the USA. Welcome home!
DAY 2:  TURIN / MILAN - ALBA          [ARRIVE ITALIA]
Arrive in Italy, then retrieve your rental for the drive to Alba in the charming region of Piedmont. Restaurant suggestions will be provided throughout.
 
DAYS 3 - 5: ALBA          [FREE DAYS]
Daily breakfasts in each of your hotels.  Free days to enjoy and explore the region best known for its wine and truffles.  Spend your days sampling the vintages of Nebbiolo, Barbaresco, Barbera, and Dolcetto.  Possible day trips include the medieval towns of Saluzzo, Barolo, Monforte d’Alba, Grinzane, Asti, Sinio, and more!
 
DAY 6:  ALBA - TURIN          [REACH TURIN]
Drive towards Turin today, with a chance to stop in either the French town of Briancon or visit a castle or two in the mountains of Val d' Aosta. Reach Turin and drop off your rental car, then check-in to your centrally located hotel.

Throughout your trip, special arrangements can also be planned, such as tours in the countryside, wine tastings, or cooking classes. You could add a few extra nights in Milan, Venice, Cinque Terre, Bologna, Florence, and so much more. The choice is yours and we will gladly consult with you and draw up the best itinerary based on your needs and wishes so that it is the best vacation of your life!
