Day 1 

Arrival in Glasgow & Free Time at Leisure

​Arrive in Glasgow, where you will be met for the transfer to your centrally located hotel.  Free time to get acquainted with your new neighborhood

Day 2

Explore Glasgow, then Proceed to the Trossachs National Park

Meet your expert guide and driver for a guided visit to Glasgow. After the tour, continue your journey north, and consider a stop at Stirling Castle for a quick exploration!? On arrival at the Trossachs National Park, check-in to your cozy guest house

Day 3

Uncover the Beauty of the Trossachs National Park, then Depart to Spean Bridge 

​Explore the beautiful park of the Trossachs, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of hills, lochs, glens and villages!! After taking in the best of the Trossachs, time to venture to Spean Bridge for an overnight stay

Day 4

Explore Spean Bridge and Enjoy the Jacobite Train Ride Experience before Reaching Skye

Discover the charming village of Spean Bridge this morning with a scenic drive to Fort William! Enjoy the breathtaking views of the lochs as you head to the Jacobite train to Mallaig. On arrival, take the ferry to Armadale. Continue to your boutique guest house

Day 5

Visit the World Famous Isle of Skye

Time to explore Skye and its stunning sights of Quirang, Neist Point, the waterfall at Kilt Rock, the Fairy Pools, and Dunvegan Castle!! Consider a light hike up the path on the Old Man of Storr. And of course, you might nip a wee dram at the Talisker Tasting Tour!

Day 6

Proceed to Inverness

​Off you go to Inverness. Consult with your driver to pick out the best route for the scenic drive, perhaps admire at spectacular views of the Caledonian Canal and visit a nearby village of Fort Augustus? Why not stop by Loch Ness for a short excursion? The small quaint village of Drumnadrochit is also a great stopping point for refreshment!! On arrival in Inverness, check in at your guest house

Day 7

Explore the Beautiful Highlands

A full day of exploring the Highlands!! Highlights might include Urquhart Castle, Caledonian Canal, Culloden Battlefield, Cava Cairns, Cawdor Castle and Fort George. Don’t forget to visit Tomatin distillery and learn more about its famous whiskey!! Whatever you do, soak up the unspoiled scenery of this outstanding natural area!!

Day 8

Drive to Edinburgh

​Drive south today to the hilly capital of Edinburgh!! Stop by the charming towns of Grantown-on-Spey or Tomintoul in Cairngorms National Park!? Consider to visit the lovely town of Pitlochry, and try some famous whiskey at Blair Athol distillery—one of the oldest working distilleries in Scotland! Continue to Edinburgh, and check in at your centrally located hotel

Day 9

Explore Edinburgh

Enjoy an in-depth look at Edinburgh, seeing historic Edinburgh Castle, the Queen’s Palace of Holyroodhouse, Scottish Parliament and more. Free time afterward to see the Royal Yacht Britannia or St. Giles Cathedral! Consider taking a stroll on cobbled streets and narrow alleyways in the Old Town or a visit to the Camera Obscura and World of Illusions!?

Day 10

Free Day at Leisure in Edinburgh

​Free day at leisure to roam the city! Take a leisurely walk to Calton Hill? Suggest visiting a museum or two such as the National Museum, Real Mary King’s Close or the Scottish National Gallery. Also of interest might be St. Giles Cathedral? During August, Edinburgh Castle hosts the Military Tattoo! Well worth it!!

Day 11

Depart Edinburgh

Transfer to the airport now for your home-bound flights.  Same-day arrival in the USA. Welcome home!

When should I go?

The ideal time is from May to October - the Military Tattoo in Edinburgh takes place in mid to late August
