Day 1
Arrive Palermo and Start Exploring

On arrival in Palermo, you will be met for the private transfer to your centrally located hotel. Free time this afternoon to relax and begin your exploration of Palermo, a city highlighted by Beaux Arts architecture , theaters, and neighborhoods that have been unchanged for hundreds of years!
Day 2
Explore the Incredible Palermo and Uncover the Archaeological Treasures of Monreale
​
Explore Palermo and Monreale with your expert guide and driver. In Palermo, visit the namesake Palermo Cathedral, and awake your senses at the Ballarò Market. Then off to Monreale where you can admire the famed Norman architecture and mosaics that make Monreale a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A leisurely afternoon to wander through Palermo's famous markets and do a little shopping
Day 3
Delve into Cefalù’s Rich History and Culture

Our driver will escort you along the coast to Cefalù, a lovely fishing village with a quaint town center and home to impressive cathedral mosaics. The rest of the day is at your leisure to do and see whatever you like! Back to Palermo tonight for dinner. Sicily offers a uniquely delicious cuisine!
Day 4
Venture to Menfi in SW Sicily (Wine Country)

On the road today! With your private driver or rental car, reach Menfi. En route, consider a stop in Segesta for a visit to the unfinished Doric temple and theater, or a stroll through the charming hilltop town of Erice. This can be your chance to experience the dynamic wine country of Sicily with a hands on cooking class and a visit to a ricotta cheese dairy (very fresh!)
Day 5
Free Day to Discover the Mysteries Behind the Greek Temples of Agrigento and the Region
​
Consider taking day trips to some of the nearby destinations. Perhaps to the famous salt works in Mozia? Or step back in time in the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, where you will be able to see the temples for numerous Greek Gods and Goddesses. The choice is yours!
Day 6
Travel to Piazza Armerina En Route to Taormina
​
Your journey continues to Taormina! On the way, stop in Piazza Armerina for the spectacular IV-c mosaics in the Villa Romana del Casale. Once you reach Taormina, check into your hotel, and the rest of the day is yours! Perhaps put on your chef’s hat and pull out your mattarello (rolling pin) to whip up your culinary masterpiece at a hands on cooking class at a local restaurant!
Day 7
Marvel at the Stunning Views from the Summit of Mt. Etna
​
With your driver and guide, enjoy a ride to Mt. Etna. We suggest a light hike to the Crateri Silvestri, the massive craters from the eruption of 1892! Alternatively, you can take the funicular up to breathtaking heights. Back to Taormina late this afternoon, you'll have the rest of the day to yourself. More beach time, or perhaps a little shopping?
Day 8
Uncover the Charms of Siracusa
​
Day trip to Siracusa, the hometown of Archimedes and one of the great cities of the Greek world. Together with your guide, explore the Archaeological Park known for its quarries and exceptional Ear of Dionyssios, as well as the cathedral and the main city on the peninsula of Ortigia. Transfer back to Taormina for the night
Day 9
Depart Taormina to Catania Airport
​
Transfer to Catania this morning for your home-bound flights. Same-day arrival in the USA. Welcome home!
